Raiders of the Lost Ark
ActionAdventureFamilyRomance115 min
In 1936, archaeologist and professor Indiana Jones is recruited to find the Ark of the Covenant before the Nazis do. Harrison Ford is Indy, a whip-cracking adventurer whose search takes him from American lecture halls to Nepal and Cairo, with Karen Allen’s Marion Ravenwood joining the chase as a tough former flame with her own history with him. Directed by Steven Spielberg, the film sends Jones through ancient ruins, crowded markets, and military outposts as he races a rival archaeologist and an entire Nazi operation to one of the Bible’s most dangerous relics.
