The Road Warrior
ActionAdventureSci-FiThriller96 min
Mel Gibson is Max Rockatansky, an ex-cop roaming the post-apocalyptic Australian Outback in search of gasoline until a fuel-depot encampment under siege draws him into its fight for survival. George Miller builds a scorched landscape of wrecked highways, improvised armor, and desperate barter, where fuel is currency and every vehicle looks rebuilt from scrap. Opposing the settlers is Lord Humungus, the charismatic head of a marauding gang whose power rests on brute force and fear.
