E.T.

ActionAdventureFamilyFantasySci-Fi115 min

When a stranded alien is left behind on Earth, 10-year-old Elliott hides him in his family home and names him E.T. Henry Thomas is the boy at the center of the story, while Drew Barrymore’s little sister Gertie and Robert MacNaughton’s older brother join in protecting their unexpected houseguest. As a government task force closes in, the children’s bond with E.T. deepens, and helping him contact home becomes urgent. Steven Spielberg frames the story through a child’s-eye view of suburbs, siblings, Halloween disguises, and moonlit bicycle rides, with Dee Wallace as the mother trying to keep the household steady.
