After crossing paths during a convenience-store scam, veteran grifter Marcos and younger hustler Juan team up for a much bigger score: selling a sheet of forged rare stamps, the “Nine Queens,” to a wealthy foreign collector. Ricardo Darín's Marcos works fast, talks faster, and keeps everyone off balance, while Juan (Gastón Pauls) is newer to the game and harder to read. As the pair move through hotels, handoffs, and shifting alliances, Marcos's sister Valeria becomes part of the deal, and every step of the swindle raises fresh doubts about who is using whom.
