The Secret in Their Eyes

CrimeDramaMysteryRomanceThriller130 min

Years after a brutal rape and murder case went unsolved, retired criminal investigator Benjamín Espósito begins writing a novel about the one file he could never close. Ricardo Darín is Benjamín, tracing the investigation back through 1970s Argentina as old evidence, buried feelings, and the failures of the courts come back into view. Opposite him, Soledad Villamil’s Irene — his former colleague and the woman he has quietly loved for years — becomes part of his attempt to reckon with a crime that never stopped shaping both of them.
