Last Flag Flying
ComedyDramaWar125 min
Thirty years after Vietnam, former Marines Larry “Doc” Shepherd, Sal Nealon, and Richard Mueller reunite when Doc’s son is killed serving in Iraq. Steve Carell’s quiet Doc turns to two men he hasn’t seen in decades: Bryan Cranston brings swagger and bluster to Sal, while Laurence Fishburne’s Richard is now a pastor with a steadier life. Instead of a formal burial at Arlington, the three head north with the coffin, trading old stories, old grievances, and dark humor as the road trip pulls their wartime history back into view.
