The Hunt for Red October
ActionAdventureThriller135 min
In the last stretch of the Cold War, a new Soviet nuclear submarine is heading for the U.S. coast, and Washington assumes an attack is coming. Alec Baldwin is CIA analyst Jack Ryan, who believes Captain Marko Ramius (Sean Connery) is trying to defect instead. As American commanders scramble and Soviet forces race to intercept their own vessel, Ryan has only hours to prove his theory before both sides turn a crisis into war. Scott Glenn and James Earl Jones round out the U.S. side of a story split between command rooms, sonar screens, and the tight corridors of the Red October.
