The Island of Dr. Moreau
HorrorSci-FiThriller96 min
After a shipwreck leaves him stranded at sea, a man is pulled onto a remote island run by Dr. Moreau, a brilliant and deeply unsettling scientist who has built a private world cut off from any law. What first looks like a refuge turns into a trap as he discovers the island is populated by creatures shaped through Moreau’s experiments, and held together by fear, ritual, and violence. As tensions inside the compound begin to crack, the visitor is caught between Moreau’s control and the unrest spreading among his creations. Marlon Brando and David Thewlis anchor a story of isolation, warped science, and a society on the verge of revolt.
