Scott Calvin thought the North Pole was finally running smoothly, but on Christmas Eve an emergency call from the Council of Legendary Figures turns the holiday upside down. Tim Allen is Scott, juggling Santa duties, a visit from his wife’s parents, and a scheme from Martin Short’s Jack Frost, who wants control of Christmas for himself. Elizabeth Mitchell returns as Carol, Scott’s Mrs. Claus, while Ann-Margret and Alan Arkin arrive as the in-laws brought in on the North Pole secret. As Frost stirs up trouble at the toy factory, Scott is pushed toward the little-known Escape Clause, a loophole that could undo his time in the red suit.
