Roman Holiday

ComedyDramaRomance119 min

Princess Ann slips away from her tightly managed royal tour in Rome and, after a sedative leaves her stranded on a park bench, ends up under the roof of an American reporter who doesn’t yet know who she is. Audrey Hepburn is the sheltered young princess tasting ordinary freedom for the first time, while Gregory Peck’s Joe Bradley sees the chance for an exclusive story once he learns her identity. As they spend a day crossing the city on foot and by scooter, embassy handlers, newsroom ambitions, and Ann’s public duties close in.
