After a teenage girl and the family’s servant are found murdered in Noida, the case quickly turns on the girl’s parents and then splinters into conflicting versions of what happened. Irrfan Khan is the hardened investigator trying to cut through shifting testimony, police assumptions, and rival official inquiries. At the center are the accused parents, with Konkona Sen Sharma and Neeraj Kabi carrying the strain of a household under suspicion and public scrutiny. Loosely drawn from the 2008 Noida double murder case, the film tracks how one brutal crime becomes a maze of evidence, theory, and institutional contradiction.
