Andy Garcia is Avila, a sharp young investigator paired with Amy Wallace, while Richard Gere’s Dennis Peck is a decorated street cop whose polished surface hides a long list of abuses and criminal ties. As the inquiry tightens, Peck stops acting like a suspect and starts working the people investigating him, turning a misconduct case into a personal fight inside the department.
