A group of young hikers heads into the mountains of Oregon to see a remote piece of land one of them has inherited. What starts as a weekend trip quickly turns uneasy as the forest closes in around them and warnings about the area go ignored. Far from help, they realize someone is watching them from the woods. The outing turns into a fight to stay alive as the hikers are stalked across the rough backcountry by a backwoods killer who knows the terrain far better than they do. With Chris Lemmon and George Kennedy folded into the mounting danger, the story keeps tightening as the group’s isolation becomes its biggest trap.
