Eaten Alive
HorrorThriller91 min
At a ramshackle hotel in rural East Texas, Judd (Neville Brand) runs his business with a shotgun, a volatile temper, and a crocodile in the swamp beside the property. When a stream of stranded travelers and troubled locals passes through the Starlight, minor disputes quickly turn deadly. Tobe Hooper directs the motel nightmare as one long, uneasy night brings together a runaway sex worker, a young family that includes Marilyn Burns, and Buck, a swaggering pest brought to life by Robert Englund. Nearly all of the action closes in around the hotel and its swampy grounds, where every arrival feels like a mistake.
