ComedyDramaRomance106 min
Claire Danes is Mirabelle, a disenchanted sales clerk and aspiring artist spending her days at a department store glove counter. Her quiet routine shifts when Steve Martin’s Ray Porter, a wealthy older divorcé, takes an interest in her, while Jeremy (Jason Schwartzman), an aimless young musician, keeps circling back into her life. As Mirabelle moves between Ray’s moneyed attention and Jeremy’s casual affection, the film stays close to her uncertainty about work, love, and what adult independence might look like.
