Solitary Man
ComedyDramaRomance90 min
Michael Douglas is Ben Kalmen, a once-successful New York car dealer whose business collapse hasn’t curbed his appetite for bad decisions. Divorced from Nancy, the college sweetheart who still knows exactly who he is, Ben keeps drifting between family obligations, a younger girlfriend, and shaky plans for a comeback. Susan Sarandon brings years of history to Nancy, while Mary-Louise Parker’s Jordan connects Ben to an influential auto executive who could restore his standing. As his charm keeps colliding with his habits, Ben watches his personal and professional life slide further off course.
