Man of the Year

ComedyDramaRomanceThriller115 min

Tom Dobbs, the irreverent host of a political satire show, turns a rant about corruption in Washington into a presidential campaign — and then wakes up to find he’s won. Robin Williams is Dobbs, a comedian-turned-candidate whose outsider run collides with a much stranger problem: a software engineer believes a glitch in the electronic voting system handed him the election. As the campaign circus gives way to questions about how the vote was counted, the film moves between media satire, backroom politics, and a mounting suspicion that the result on the screen may not match the one in the country.
