Fallen Angels
ActionAdventureComedyCrimeDramaFamilyRomance99 min
In Wong Kar-Wai’s Hong Kong nocturne, a detached hitman and the woman who arranges his jobs move through the city on separate tracks, bound by routine, distance, and her unspoken fixation on him. Leon Lai is the killer looking for a way out, while Michelle Reis’s partner trails behind him through empty bars, late-night stalls, and rented rooms. Their story crosses with that of an ex-con drifting through the same sleepless streets, chasing brief connections and creating small disruptions as he goes. Crime, longing, and slapstick brush against each other in a city of neon, shadows, and after-hours encounters.
