Captain Ron
ActionAdventureComedy100 min
When suburban dad Martin Harvey inherits a vintage yacht, he takes his family to the Caribbean expecting a dream getaway and instead finds a boat in rough shape that still has to make it to Miami. Martin Short is the mild, increasingly frazzled Martin, and Kurt Russell's Captain Ron is the roguish sailor hired to get them there. Ron's anything-goes style, questionable judgment, and habit of courting trouble turn the trip into a string of mishaps, with Mary Kay Place along as Martin's wife while the whole family gets pulled deeper into the chaos.
