In a world of rival martial arts clans, a Chinese swordsman and a Japanese fighter are drawn toward a high-stakes duel meant to prove which nation’s warriors are supreme. As they prepare for the contest, both men begin to see that the ceremony around them is poisoned by scheming factions, hidden attacks, and people who want the match to end in blood no matter who wins. Their growing respect for each other clashes with the demands of honor and loyalty, while a woman caught in the conflict pulls them deeper into a web of betrayal. Norman Chui and Damian Lau lead a story where the formal duel becomes a fight to survive everyone working behind it.
