In a Chinese village, Dragon spends his days stirring up trouble, chasing girls, and turning every local contest into a competition with his best friend Cowboy (Mars). Jackie Chan is Dragon, a gifted fighter whose rivalry with Cowboy gets pushed aside when he overhears smugglers moving China’s treasures out of the country. When Cowboy’s wealthy father is kidnapped by the gang’s brutal boss, the pair are pulled into a fight that starts with comic mischief and builds toward spears, rooftop clashes, and a martial arts showdown. Directed by Chan, the film mixes village comedy with increasingly elaborate action.
