A freak accident leaves stock analyst Nick Halloway invisible and on the run from a treacherous CIA official determined to turn his condition into an asset. Chevy Chase is Nick, trying to navigate a life where every public space becomes a risk, while Sam Neill’s government fixer keeps closing in. Daryl Hannah threads into the story as the documentary producer Nick finds himself drawn to even after he’s vanished from sight. Directed by John Carpenter, the film folds espionage pressure and romance into an early-’90s invisible-man setup built around sight gags, surveillance, and the problem of staying alive when nobody can see you.
