The discovery of Lava’s treasure near Ajaccio in 1985 sparks this French comedy, which draws on the true story behind the find. Didier Bourdon joins Éric Fraticelli in a large ensemble as news of the hidden riches spreads, bringing intrigue, surprise, and a rush of competing reactions. Rooted in Corsica and built around an unusual piece of local history, the film follows the commotion that grows around a single discovery and the people pulled into its orbit.
