Eddie Murphy: Raw
ComedyDocumentary93 min
Eddie Murphy takes the stage in New York City for a live stand-up set built around celebrity impersonations, stories about love, sex, and marriage in the 1980s, and memories from home. Filmed at the Felt Forum in the Madison Square Garden complex, the concert moves from riffs on Michael Jackson and Bill Cosby to a remembrance of his mother’s hamburgers, with Murphy shifting between impressions, personal anecdotes, and crowd-facing punch lines. The setup is simple: Murphy alone onstage, working through the material that made him one of the defining comedy voices of the era.
