Just Like Heaven
ComedyDramaFantasyRomance95 min
After moving into a San Francisco apartment to escape his own loneliness, David Abbott keeps finding the same impossible visitor waiting for him: Elizabeth Masterson, who insists the place is hers and then vanishes without explanation. Mark Ruffalo’s David is convinced he’s dealing with a ghost; Reese Witherspoon is Elizabeth, equally sure she’s alive and just as baffled by what’s happening to her. As the two clash over the apartment and try to figure out why she can appear and disappear at will, the story folds romantic comedy into a supernatural puzzle, with their connection growing in the middle of all the confusion.
