Megan Leavey
ActionAdventureDramaWar116 min
After a disciplinary hearing leaves her scrubbing cages in a Marine K9 unit, Megan Leavey finds purpose with Rex, an aggressive military dog no one else can handle. Kate Mara is the young corporal, whose training partnership with Rex grows into a bond built on routine, trust, and repeated deployments in Iraq. As the pair are sent out on dangerous missions, the film stays close to the work of handling a combat dog and the strain military life puts on Megan’s family, with Edie Falco and Common in supporting roles.
