Pretty Village, Pretty Flame

ComedyDramaWar115 min

In the opening days of the Bosnian War, a small group of Serbian soldiers are trapped in a tunnel, surrounded by a Muslim force and cut off from any easy way out. Dragan Bjelogrlić and Nikola Kojo are among the men caught in the cramped standoff, where fear, resentment, and gallows humor keep surfacing alongside the gunfire. The tunnel becomes the film’s central battleground, narrowing the war to a single enclosed space as the soldiers argue, wait, and try to survive the siege pressing in around them.
