The Don Is Dead
ActionAdventureCrimeDramaRomanceThriller106 min
After his mistress is murdered, Mafia boss Don Angelo DiMorra goes hunting for the killer, and the search quickly sets off a wider war between rival families. Anthony Quinn is DiMorra, an old-line don trying to keep control as loyalties shift around him. Robert Forster's Frank Regalbuto is caught in the middle of the bloodletting, while Tony (Frederic Forrest) and his brother Vince (Al Lettieri) bring their own rivalry into the mix. What begins as a personal vendetta turns into a chain of betrayals, retaliation, and power plays inside a volatile mob world.
