Newly engaged Ben Murphy and Sadie Jones are ready to get married, but Sadie’s family church comes with a condition: Reverend Frank (Robin Williams) won’t bless the wedding until they survive his patented “foolproof” marriage-prep course. John Krasinski’s Ben and Mandy Moore’s Sadie are put through invasive counseling sessions, bizarre homework, and escalating tests that turn a simple engagement into a church-supervised obstacle course. The comedy centers on Frank’s relentless meddling as the couple tries to make it to the altar without letting his lessons pull them apart.
