Mortimer & Whitehouse: Gone Fishing

The story

Lifelong friends Bob Mortimer and Paul Whitehouse travel around Britain in search of elusive fish, using each trip as a chance to swap stories, eat well, and talk with unusual candor about health and getting older. Mortimer and Whitehouse are both the guides and the company here, moving through rivers, lakes, and coastal spots while their conversations drift from comedy and friendship to the aftermath of their shared heart problems. Along the way, they stop for local meals, meet fellow anglers and familiar faces, and let the day unfold at an unhurried pace, with the catch never quite as important as the time spent getting there.
