After eight years apart, three childhood friends reconnect and set out on a cross-country trip with barely a plan, almost no money, and Mimi’s friend Ben behind the wheel of a convertible. Britney Spears is Lucy, traveling alongside Zoë Saldaña’s outspoken Kit and Mimi (Taryn Manning), whose reasons for getting out of town are more complicated than the trip first suggests. As the road takes them through motels, karaoke stops, and hard conversations, old tensions resurface and the bond they left behind starts to take shape again. Anson Mount’s Ben rounds out the group as the long drive turns into a test of friendship, family ties, and the futures they’ve been imagining.
