Quinn Harris is a cargo pilot living quietly on Makatea in the South Pacific until a last-minute job puts him in the cockpit with Robin Monroe, a New York magazine editor whose vacation has already gone sideways. Harrison Ford gives Quinn a stubborn, weather-beaten calm, while Anne Heche’s Robin arrives with deadlines and little patience for his style. When a storm forces an emergency landing on a deserted island, the two have to work together to find a way off while staying ahead of the pirates who cross their path. David Schwimmer appears as Robin’s boyfriend, waiting back at the resort.
