Jungle Fighters

ComedyDramaWar110 min

In 1942, a troop of British soldiers is sent into the Malayan jungle to record ambient and troop noises that can later be used to mislead Japanese forces. Richard Todd and Laurence Harvey are part of the patrol as a routine assignment turns dangerous: the men drift out of radio range, pick up only a Japanese broadcast, and begin to suspect they’re much closer to enemy territory than they thought. Tension inside the group is already rising, especially between a belligerent private and the corporal he openly despises. When the patrol takes a Japanese soldier prisoner, the strain between duty, fear, and authority comes into sharper focus.
