Penelope
ComedyFantasyRomance104 min
Hidden inside her family’s estate, heiress Penelope Wilhern has spent her life under a curse that left her with a pig’s snout and one supposed way out: she must find love with someone of “suitable” stock. Christina Ricci is Penelope, shut off from the world while her parents stage an endless parade of aristocratic suitors. When an outsider enters the family’s carefully managed search, James McAvoy becomes part of the crack in that isolation, and Penelope starts looking past the rules, class expectations, and secrecy that have defined her life.
