Flubber
ComedyFamilySci-Fi93 min
Professor Phillip Brainard keeps missing his own wedding while chasing a breakthrough that might save Medfield College. Robin Williams is the absent-minded inventor, working alongside his floating assistant Weebo when an experiment produces Flubber, a strange green substance that can send ordinary objects soaring and bouncing at impossible speed. At the center of the chaos is Marcia Gay Harden’s Sara Jean Reynolds, the college president and Phillip’s long-waiting fiancée, who has already been left at the altar twice. The film turns Brainard’s lab accident into a campus comedy of botched romance, financial trouble, and airborne mayhem.
