Towed in a Hole
ComedyFamily21 min
Successful fishmongers Stan and Ollie decide the next logical step is to become fishermen themselves, buy a battered boat, and try to make it seaworthy. Stan Laurel's upbeat schemer keeps pushing the plan forward while Oliver Hardy's Ollie gets steadily more irritated as each repair turns into another problem. The comedy stays close to the pair's comic rhythm: Stan's persistence, Ollie's pride, and a simple project that becomes a long struggle with tools, lumber, and a vessel that refuses to cooperate.
