City of Ember
ActionAdventureDramaFamilyFantasySci-FiThriller95 min
In the underground City of Ember, the generator that has powered the lights for generations is starting to fail, and the lamps keeping the darkness back begin to flicker. Saoirse Ronan and Harry Treadaway are the two teenagers who find themselves chasing a box of clues through Ember’s streets, tunnels, and pipeworks, trying to uncover why the city exists before everything goes dark. Bill Murray is the mayor overseeing the increasingly fragile city, while Tim Robbins and Martin Landau round out the adults around them as the mystery widens.
