Brittany Runs a Marathon
ComedyDrama104 min
After a doctor’s warning, Brittany Forgler decides she has to change a life defined by partying, underemployment, and relationships that keep her stuck. Jillian Bell is Brittany, a New Yorker who can’t afford a gym and can barely make it one block at first, until a neighbor’s push gets her moving. What starts as a reluctant jog through the city turns into a much bigger goal: training for the New York City Marathon. Michaela Watkins and Utkarsh Ambudkar are part of the circle around Brittany as she tries to build discipline, confront her habits, and keep going when the progress is slow.
