CrimeDramaMysteryThriller92 min

When a young woman is found murdered in a London park, two Scotland Yard detectives uncover a case shaped as much by prejudice as by evidence: she was of mixed race and had been passing for white. Nigel Patrick leads the inquiry, with Michael Craig alongside him as the investigation moves from the victim’s white boyfriend to his disapproving family and a widening circle of suspects. In late-1950s London, the search for her killer turns up buried identities, social pressure, and the racism running through drawing rooms, boarding houses, and the street.
