After a plane crash strands billionaire Charles Morse in the Alaskan wilderness with photographer Robert and a young assistant, the fight to get home becomes a battle against the cold, the terrain, and a Kodiak bear on their trail. Anthony Hopkins is Charles, a wealthy intellectual whose calm, practical streak takes over once survival is on the line. Opposite him, Robert (Alec Baldwin) is experienced outdoors but harder to read, especially as Charles starts to suspect he’s been sleeping with his wife. As they trek toward civilization, every setback sharpens the tension between the men.
