Battling Butler
ComedyRomance77 min
Buster Keaton is Alfred Butler, a pampered millionaire whose name gets him mistaken for a heavyweight boxing champion. When he heads into the Kentucky mountains and falls for a local young woman, Sally O'Neil's mountain girl takes him for something far tougher than the polished dandy she first meets. The mix-up turns a courtship into a string of escalating bluffs, with Alfred trying to live up to a reputation that belongs to another man entirely. Keaton directs the silent comedy toward an inevitable collision between drawing-room manners, backwoods pride, and the prize ring waiting at Madison Square Garden.
