Inside the experimental unit of a fictional men’s prison, inmates from rival gangs, racial factions, and criminal hierarchies live under constant pressure, where every meal, favor, and insult can shift the balance of power. The series follows prisoners and staff as they try to survive a place that promises rehabilitation but runs on intimidation, retaliation, and deals made in the shadows. New arrivals have to choose alliances fast, while officers and administrators struggle to control violence that keeps finding new forms. As grudges harden and authority breaks down, the prison becomes a closed world where punishment, survival, and ambition are tangled together.
