The Sopranos

CrimeDrama54 min per episode

New Jersey mob boss Tony Soprano is trying to manage two families at once: the wife and kids at home, and the criminal organization he runs. James Gandolfini is Tony, a feared capo whose panic attacks send him into therapy with Lorraine Bracco’s Dr. Jennifer Melfi, where the pressures of business, marriage, and loyalty start to surface. Around him, his household and his crew are tangled in the same power struggles, with Carmela and his protégé Christopher Moltisanti often pulling him in different directions. Created by David Chase, the series folds suburban family life into the routines and violence of organized crime.
