The story

Two teenage boys are hunted by a violent entity that takes the form of the person each desires most: the other. Joe Bird is one half of the pair trapped in that nightmare, where mutual attraction becomes something dangerous to face and even harder to escape. Every sighting turns intimacy into menace, forcing the boys to reckon with desire, fear, and the risk of being seen too clearly. Mia Wasikowska is among the cast in this Australian story that folds romance, horror, and sci-fi into the same premise.
