Amber Heard is Kristen, a troubled young woman who burns down a farmhouse and wakes up under police custody, then locked inside North Bend Psychiatric Hospital in 1966. With gaps in her memory and no one willing to believe her, she’s kept on a women’s ward under the watch of Jared Harris’s Dr. Stringer and a tightly controlled staff. As another patient vanishes and a ghostly figure begins stalking the halls at night, Kristen starts to suspect the hospital is hiding the truth about a former inmate. John Carpenter directs this asylum-set mystery with a supernatural edge.
