A House on Fire
ComedyDrama105 min
Montse is a divorced mother whose two children have kept their distance for years, but she insists on bringing everyone back together at her house on the Costa Brava. Emma Vilarasau centers the gathering as a woman determined to stage a family reunion even as old resentments start surfacing. Around her, Enric Auquer and Maria Rodríguez Soto are part of the family orbit crowding into the seaside home, where shared rooms, tense meals, and long history make it harder to keep up appearances. In Catalan, the film keeps its focus on the friction between domestic routine and everything the family has left unsaid.
