Life on a London canal houseboat suits Eva and Kat until the death of their pet revives Eva’s wish to have a child. Oona Chaplin is Eva, pushing for a future beyond the couple’s loose routine, while Natalia Tena’s Kat would rather keep things as they are — or at most get another cat. When Kat’s friend Roger (David Verdaguer) arrives from Barcelona, a drunken conversation turns him into an unexpected sperm donor, pulling all three into new questions about partnership, parenthood and where each of them fits.
