In Iraq after the 2003 invasion, Army private Matt Ocre is sent with his platoon to restore water to a village that doesn’t want them there. Nicholas Hoult is Ocre, a reluctant young soldier caught in a mission that starts as infrastructure repair and quickly becomes a daily negotiation with danger, suspicion, and the limits of American control. Logan Marshall-Green and Henry Cavill are part of the unit moving through streets where every fix carries a cost, as the squad tries to protect the village while holding itself together.
