Sunny Deol is an idealistic Sanskrit teacher whose life is upended as the world around him changes and religion becomes increasingly commercialized. In this Hindi comedy-drama from India, his stubborn attachment to older values puts him at odds with the people and forces reshaping his community, while Sakshi Tanwar appears alongside him as the pressure to adapt keeps mounting. Built around everyday arguments, satire, and the friction between faith and business, the film follows one man’s struggle to hold his ground and reckon with what that resistance may cost.
