After a skiing accident leaves a newly engaged hotel heiress with no memory, Lindsay Lohan is Sierra, a pampered young woman suddenly cut off from the polished world she knows. Chord Overstreet's lodge owner takes her in, along with his precocious daughter, as Christmas approaches and Sierra tries to piece together who she is. The setup puts an amnesiac socialite in close quarters with a working family, with holiday decorations, mountain snow, and an engagement hanging in the background while her old life remains just out of reach.
